THE CURVE WITH FACEBOOK
One of PJ folks' favourite hangout the Curve, and its sister mall eCurve, faced a daunting challenge during Malaysia's battle against the Covid-19 pandemic. With the Movement Control Order in place, malls were not allowed to operate. And yet in the spirit of serving its loyal customers, we needed to think outside the box.
Both the Curve and eCurve have been known for putting up performances and entertainment, especially during the festive seasons. Keeping with this tradition, the client curated an intimate online concert hosted by popular radio deejay Phat Fabes with performances by Akademi Fantasia alumni Vince Chong, and AIM award winner Atilia Haron.
Billed the Livewire! Live in Your Home mini concert, the event was live-streamed on the Facebook pages of the Curve, eCurve and Boustead Properties. The event featured live performances by the artists, while at the same time engaging in Q&A and taking impromptu song requests.
Livewire! Live in Your Home was boosted to reach 53,000 users. It enjoyed a little under 30,000 views across 3 platforms, generating over 5,300 engagements. Beyond the numbers, it brought a little bit of joy to its fanbase helping everyone stay sane even as they stay safe in the safety of their homes.
